Let's Bring Back The Draft In This Country - For Congress

Let's Bring Back The Draft here in this country.

This time we will draft people to serve in Congress and the Presidency. We sort of do that with our elections but the elections have become tainted, to say the least, so we need to change things around a little. Let's draft the people for two years service and place them where they serve the country the best.

First, I believe each citizen, whether born here or immigrating to this country, should serve the country for two years out of their lives. It could be done on many different levels with some doing community service on behalf of the country, such as in Social Security and Medicare. Instead of having to pay the staff of each office, local people would take care of the administration of each office. Many with the skills would have the time to do this for two years out of their lives. After all, we ask our service personnel to serve a minimum of two years to help us on the national security front, we can ask others to take care of helping administer tax payer programs on the local level.

Those Drafted to Congress, whether it be the House or the Senate, will be of skill levels that suit that position in our government of the people. The President will be CEO skill level and a person that has shown their entrepreneurial spirit and success in the marketplace. Someone that will know how to manage a business, day to day, and be able to negotiate on behalf of the people of the country. The Vice-President will also have a working knowledge of managing a business but will have unique skills to complement the President. The third person in line of the presidency would be appointed by the President and Vice-President to be Speaker of The House, a person solely there to assure parliamentary procendures in the Senate, a person proven to be dedicated to an unbiased position politically. If the Senate vote is tied, the Speaker will cast the tie breaking vote based on an educated perspective.

The judges would be appointed the same as they are now with perhaps a tweak or two here and there across the board. The idea would be to level the competitive field for those who would like to volunteer their skills to serve their fellow citizens.

Judges should be vetted completely before given such a lofty position of power.

If you have never thought of it before, think about it now.

Two years to make a difference or to continue the staus quo, whichever occurs in Congress during the time each person serves. An opportunity for those citizens that have a passion to serve their country. No representative should have to pay out of their own money the costs of serving their country. Therefore, compensation should be paid to the respresentative to find good shelter, adequate food, health care and transportation while serving. It would be part of the agreement with the taxpayer that insurance companies doing business in this country would be required to offer each person serving our country health and accident insurance coverage while serving and seamless coverage upon entering and exiting service.

The idea is definitely out there but not impossible. It would certainly take a country citizenry ready to cooperate to make this country great once again, showing the world that our country, the United States of America, is different from the rest of the world and worth the allegiance of those that live there.

Occupy Wallstreet - Frustrated and Out of Work

I must say I did not expect this kind of public outrage to what was happening on Wall Street and in the Mortgage/Banking business.

I thought everyone was in a daydream and did not see the direction we were going, even after Allen Greenspan talked about how everything was inflated and could not last very much longer. I cannot remember how many times I heard him say the housing situation was not going to prevail. People kept getting into the real estate frenzy, feeding the beast, until finally the bubble burst. Just like a pinada, once it burst open you could see what was inside. We saw how corrupt all of the players were. No wonder people were getting upside down in their properties, the guys making the deals were getting rich from the fees. Greed in it's purest form at the home of the deals, Wall Street.

Now the people that were reeled in by the system that screwed them are turning on bankers and mortgage brokers. Big banks and big finance corporations are going to find it tough to do business under their present names. There will probably be a run on new corporation names in the next few years as they posture themselves to strike again in the future.

None of them are being prosecuted or held responsible for the mess they created. If they get away with it now it will be easier for them to set it up for another hit in the future.

I have to applaud all of the "occupiers". I knew we had old hippies out there somewhere that would not mind going out and demonstrate again. We need you again. I can't be there full time but I will be in the groups when I can, supporting their voice against big business fraud and greed.

I am so tired of hearing journalist, magazine article authors, song writers, jingle creators and everyone I meet refer to themselves or anyone else as being "a good American" or "the American dream". Hugo Chavez would consider himself as a "good American". He lives in South America but "American" nevertheless.

The Prime Minister of Canada is an American. Do you think he grew up with the "American Dream"?

Hollywood and the journalist of this country and the world for that matter began using the term "American" to refer to us and it caught on. Never mind that it makes no sense for us to refer to ourselves as part of the entire three continents, North, Central and South America. It was hard to come up with a short term to refer to people from the United States of America so "American" was adopted.

Along with adopting that term we lost our uniqueness in the world. It was only a matter of time before we began to lose our image as well. This country has become divided among the right, left and left out. We must put our Politicism aside and begin to think as a United country. We have to put "political correctness" and any other false front that was devised to split us up out of the way so we can grow strong again and prosper as a country and as a people. We have led the parade so far and we need to stay ahead in the future.

A Dangerous Trend Coming From The Superior Court Of The United States of America.

The latest decision of our country's Superior Court is a trend toward Facism. It does not seem to matter which party is officially in office as President because this country has now bowed to the Corporatism of the country.

The Court decided it was okay for corporations to contribute to a candidate for political office. That means the corporations will have overwhelming influence in how a candidates will vote while in office. It is the only way it can end up because human nature bows to money. It is very hard to pass up millions of dollars and the future of your family is secured overnight. Money means too much in everyday life for the average person to be strong enough to turn it down in favor of unbiased actions.

That said, we have to approach each situation learning from the last and this country and society in general seems to have a hard time doing this. Most of us approach life with the attitude that if what is happening in the world does not touch my family I do not have the energy to deal with anything else in my life. Our society here in the United States is tired of chasing the almighty buck only to have it crash and burn right in front of us.

What can we do? End the Politicism and come together once again into a great country that the world strives to emulate.

One Last Chance 2011

This country has entered a new era. We have one last chance to show the world that we are the strongest country in the world. Not only are we the strongest military but we are the strongest economy, the strongest ethics and moral fibers run deeply through our country.

The fringe are just that, the fringe, and should not carry any importance in everyday life. Sure we need to keep watching them because they could start something that we will be very sorry for in the future but they are a small minority of this country.

Most of us are hard working people that care about others. We don't want to give away money to those that waste it but it is important that we reach out around the world and help those in need.

Why? Because they are part of the human race and we are civil and thoughtful about our fellow mankind. There are those that say we do not owe anyone and each person should take care of themselves but that goes against the whole reason we jumped out of Neanderthal into humankind, we became civil to one another. We cared what happened to our neighbor as well as ourselves. That is what it means to be human beings.

I have a couple of days off from building our house and I started cerfing the internet for news, watching television and listening to talk radio again.

Both of the major political parties have their hosts or hostettes pushing a particular agenda to anyone listening or watching that day. In the meantime, the politicians in Congress are passing legislature that is harmful for our country and giving themselves raises when everyone else has to pinch pennies to exist.

They just voted themselves a raise in salary and benefits which is called “cost of living increase” but recently sent out letters to tax paying citizens that their social security check would not get the normal “cost of living increase” this year because there was virtually no inflation in our country.

The vote was not even close to failing. For the first time in months, the Republicans and the Democrats united together and passed legislation in a timely manner. Amazing what they can accomplish in such a short time? All without much media attention I might add.

Is everyone aware that the Supreme Court of this country just ruled that it is okay for foreign corporations to use their profits to promote certain political agendas in this country?

Is it just me or can you see how much of our country is being influenced by foreign and sometimes hostile countries?

Rupert Murdock influences a great deal of the media throughout the country and that media is helping his agenda to bring our country down and they do it in the name of the Republican party. He owns FOX and other influential networks that promote division in our country. Remember Rupert is not from the USA.

China and other countries own a great deal of our country’s Real Property thanks to the relaxing of controls over corporations both domestic and foreign. Money is a strong motivator for a politician to cooperate with something that is not good for the country.

A split country like the one we have now give the powerful enemies we have in the world an advantage against us because of our lack of cohesion as a society.

Have the two parties, Democrat and Republican, gained so much power in this country that they can do anything they want without the general population reacting?

The media has succeeded in splitting us up according to political affiliations to benefit their agenda.

Now we all are obsessively engaged in right vs left. This action makes the media’s “air time” worth more money to the political advertisers who want to influence everyone’s perception of what is happening in our country. The flow of money continues and the owners of the media are getting rich off of it. The more we tug of war over our country’s leadership the more our enemies can drive a wedge in our defenses. They cannot march in and take this country by force but subtle influence can override our common sense at times and make us vulnerable.

Wake up US citizens! Are you so numb that you cannot see your country going down the drain?

Time for a rant but I should not be alone in this rant.

Everyone that cares about this country and our image in the rest of the world better start paying attention to what is going on around them. Our country is on a declining spiral and we better pay more attention to it.

Everything that our forefathers instilled in our system is being torn apart. The Congress is telling us they are watching everything and will report back to us. The Treasury and Federal personnel are telling Congress they are watching everything and will report back to them in a few more months. The President's advisors are telling him that they are watching everything and will report to him from time to time. The President is trying to settle everything down in the world so finances can operate once again across the globe and he is saying to them he is watching everything and will report to them soon.

In the meantime, the corporations that knew all of this would occur, and some of whom helped this financial crisis to occur, have positioned themselves to be on the receiving end of the taxpayers money. It is not about these companies surviving at all. In fact it is my opinion that they do not want these companies to survive intact.

THEY refers to the entities behind the scenes pulling the strings. The Congress is probably oblivious to what the underlying answers are and those of us that have our intuition tuned in don't honestly know who THEY are but it is becoming more like the Trilateral Commission's fingerprints all over the evidence. That group is made up of all the financial entities around the world. It was orginated here in the good ole USA by Rockefeller and the rest of the financial tycoons in the 1970's. Jimmy Carter was supposed to have dropped his membership when he become President but since then I have not heard of any members dropping their membership because of involvement with Government. Geitner, Paulson, Bernanke are all members along with Cheney, Bush, etc. Can one make this type of stuff up? No because the list of members is public knowledge but if the public is numb they listen to the information and then go eat dinner or take in a movie as if nothing is going on.

We have a financial meltdown in the US and right behind us are the rest of the countries in Europe. Even Asia has been brought into the quagmire but have you noticed the Middle Eastern area has remained intact with Saudi Arabia leading the parade. Lets see, they have the oil, the money, and soon the nukes. What have we been doing in the meantime? We attacked Iraq, threw military into Afghanistan and now we are going over the border with Pakistan and waging war there too. Is this the proper strategy for us as a country?

It is no coincidence that the Bushes and the Clintons were really good friends working together and both bowed to the Saudi Arabian leader, holding hands and having a good ole time together. That was on television but no one seemed to understand what it meant. It means that power follows the money. It is no coincidence that George Bush Sr and Jr, Dick Cheney and Bill Clinton were members of the 'skull and bones' club at Yale. That club did not originate at Yale however and when one takes the time to trace the origin of the club it goes back to the early 1800's in Germany. There are those that believe it goes back much further than that. Back to the Egyptians and Jews in BC. It is not a harmless fraternity club. There is much more to that group than meets the eye. They have been around a long time.

That means this group cuts across most societies in the world by now. It is beginning to be obvious that families are in top positions of various country's leadership. From the beginning we have families running countries and I am not talking about the Monarchs.

Some of these names have been President and some have been Vice President or other influential parts of our government here in the USA.

George Herbert Walker Bush is in the lineage and George Walker Bush is there as well.

All members of the skull and bones. Are these coincidences? I think not.

I bring all of this up for one reason. We have a responsibility to be vigil and to fight for our rights and freedoms. We cannot rely on others to do that. Each one of us has to stand up for what is moral, ethical and fair for all. We cannot continue to go along with the powers at hand. We must stand up and fight for our country to get it back. No gun laws, no big brother, get the corporations out of government and get the power back to the people.

And it all has to be tried in a non-violent way at first. We have to try and bring in people to Congress and the Presidency who care more for their fellow citizens than they do for the corporations. We have to take the big money out of politics. The media will fight this because they make billions of dollars in revenue every election cycle. The more they stir controvery up the more they make in ad revenues.

The politicians will not want to let go of their power so it will take a large effort at the poles. If we do not do this as a society we are doomed to go the way Rome did twice in the world's history.

Could we be the demise of the third Roman Empire that is referred to in the stories included in Revelations manuscripts. There is the rising and falling of one particular entity in the stories and it has been interpreted as being the Roman Empire rising and falling twice in our past history and in modern history there was to be another rising and falling of that Empire. Are we the third rise of the Roman Empire and are we about to take a dive?

All of this can be contemplated but too much hesitation causes negative results.

We THE PEOPLE have given up on our duties to keep our government from getting the way it is today. It was up to us to keep them in line and we did not do that.

Now the two major parties are out of control and it is almost impossible to launch the third party because of the gerrymandering of districts for the Democrats and Republicans.

Once upon a citizen’s query
As they pondered, weak and weary.
How they would make enough money
To pay the beekeeper for the honey.

Should they give the hive owner cash
Or save that for their own stash
And give the hiver an IOU
hoping they will have the money when its due?

They could start a business and charge to join their club
Then pay the IOU with the cash flow and give the new members a stub
The only hope is that the members don’t discover the truth
Because they will have to come up with some real cash or end up in an iron booth.

Time for a new scheme but what could it be about?
Perhaps start a sub prime mortgage bank and eventually get bailed out.
That would put them back in the black numbers so they can try once more
To bilk the consumer for every penny they can get and more

They can take control of the government and get their agenda passed
And then somehow under the table resume what they did in the past.
Whose going to stop them since everyone is involved
Isn’t it sad how our society has evolved?

They are worshipping a false god called material and wealth
And not thinking about the future and society’s health
The result will be the decline of the whole and eventually lead to disaster
But that is what happens when greed is rampant and money is master.

Up Date On Barr

I heard Bob Barr interviewed several times recently since he was named by the Libertarian party as their Presidential candidate. He sounds like a Republican still. He had all of the "tag" words in each sentence he uttered. Republicans have done it the wrong way and you certainly cannot turn to the Democrats. That is his message basically. Go back and see how Bob Barr voted while in Congress and tell me he is not a Republican who is pissed off at the elite of the party and has decided to run against them via the Libertarian party.

What is that all about? If you don't like those that control the party you belong to just switch to another party for a while? Just like the Independent Party. They are the safe harbor for the pissed off Democrats.

Can we just get off of this train and take a new and different road?

Is there another road to take? We have to get off of the one that takes us to hell that is for sure!

A friend of mine and I have been talking about how our administration for our country has been lacking for many years. Neither the Democrats or Republicans have delivered for us and we were wondering how all of it would take place. How could real change occur.

First we knew that our country had to get to the place where we were scorned by the world. We thought how in the world is that going to happen. After all we were attacked by Muslim extremist and the world was standing with us. We were beating our enemies in Afghanistan and making that country better for it's citizens.

We thought how could all of that good will across the world disappear suddenly? We figured there was no way that could occur and settled down to play our game of video golf.

The next thing we knew President Cheney was making the case to go to war against Iraq.

I watched the United Nations Council meetings and saw Powell make a fool of himself. I watched as the nuclear proliferation hearings determined that Hussein did not have nuclear capability and did not pursue weapons of mass destruction. What the hell was the rest of the country watching? How could so many be fooled with the mass media we have in this country? Because they are now owned by just a few people, all of whom will cooperate with each other for a common cause. Especially if that cause is to lobby Congress for favors like tax breaks, special tax code, etc.

Whether you are Democrat or Republican you have to be totally pissed off at this government. It has been nothing but infringing on your rights and freedoms in the name of fighting terrorism but in reality it is simply a back door for "big brother" to run your life.

Now let us look at the whole thing in a different perspective.

Don't like the high price of gas because you have not received a raise in salary to compensate for the extra cost of fuel to get around your job? Do something about it.

Don't like paying five and six dollars per gallon of milk instead of two dollars last year? Do something about it.

Don't like companies being able to file bankruptcy and getting rid of the pensions they had in place for past employees and then coming out of bankruptcy without that financial liability? Do something about it.

Don't like who is making all of this happen? Do something about it.

Quit whinning and use your vote wisely. Don't listen to the media, do your homework. Find out about the candidate you are thinking about voting for before you vote for them.

Don't be a robot and vote for the party of your father or peers. Vote your concience.

Ask yourself some very important questions. The first question should be whether you really love and care about this country or not?

If you do, then the next question should be what are you going to do to show that love? Some call it patriotism but I call it love. You have to love your country to lay down your life in service to it.

You have to believe that you make a difference when you go and vote. You make a difference in a casual conversation when you temper the attitude of one or more of the participants that seem to be leaning to far one way or the other. Anyone on one side of the other is not in sinq with most people whose DNA has them cohabitating with others no matter who they are. There is no difference in one man from another or one woman from another. Take it to the molecular level and we are all the same. Take it to the first layer under the skin and you will find the same organization of cells into muscles, connectors, and the power plant organs.

We are all the same and if we did not have skin you could not tell who came from which country let alone which world. Don't you think that a wise God would have many of these types of planets around the universe so creatures like us would develop?

I think so. In fact, I think we are the beginning of the creation and we will develop into more spiritual beings and go to other developing planets to be their guides to God's kingdom. Who knows and who cares, right?

Well, sometimes I feel that way and for some reason deep inside of me I know that is not the right attitude and I come back to the one that says God made us to exist together and to be at peace with one another. Why else?

Hello Fellow Citizens of the GOUSA

I cannot imagine a worse situation for a country than the choices we have for our next President. I feel like one of those third world countries that has to put up with their political leaders and hope they don't screw things up so bad our country cannot recover.

The preacher that got Obama in so much trouble was speaking the truth in many of the cases. His comment about what God should do to the country because of the way we have acted politically is not far off from what God probably will do.

Our country has been taken over by those that think money and power are the only things to strive for in life. Our moral fortitude has been weakened and those in power are testing God's patience with us.

WE THE PEOPLE had better get off of our butts and start paying attention or our country will be damned.

We must stand up and resist the politicos in this country and make the government do what we want it to do. We had better stand up and resist those that would lead our country into the abyss.

Neither of the parties in power deserve your support or your money. Quit giving money to the parties and keep it in your savings. You need it much more than they do.

You will notice that even if you do not give to the parties they will still have billionaires supporting them. That is who they live off of. The money in this country runs it. That is why so many of them are in Congress and the Senate.

Actually they are elitists. I hate to use a word that is getting pushed around all over the media in this world but that is exactly what these people are. They have more money than anyone needs and they have no idea what it means to live paycheck to paycheck. Those that do are kept quiet.

We would be better off voting someone like Bob Barr into that position because he would be a good representative. Voting a third party person in does not mean they will remain impartial and that is the only thing that bothers me about him.

If Bob could somehow reach out and show how he would get both parties to cooperate and be more of a good will broker than a warrior across the world then I could vote for him.

If he can lead the Libertarian Party out of the middle ages and into today's civil world he could be the next President.

Can It Be Any More Obvious??

It is plain to see if one reads accounts and watches television, as the politicians posture and take positions, they think the election of 2008 was the last election we will have any chance in effecting as a voting public. If we do not take this last opportunity to do the right thing in 2012 and nullify both major party's influence over our country's affairs we will have lost the fight against the negative energy that has taken over our country by way of it's government. The parties will have been highjacked by their various extreme elements and WE THE PEOPLE will be left out of the process from now on.

The parties use the media, especially the television prime time viewing hours, to bolster their position and divert our attention with some inane programming. Who cares whether or not something happens on a television series? It is not real life and it is amazing how many people in this country will get caught up in the storyline and follow it with every bit of their attention but they will pay no attention to what the politicians are doing to our country.

It is plain to see that if WE THE PEOPLE do not step up and take responsibility of our country we can kiss it goodbye as far as our influence is concerned after 2008.

We have this last chance in the elections to create a new government that is FOR THE PEOPLE and not against the people, BY THE PEOPLE not by these hypocrits that run the country now and FOR THE PEOPLE not for the special interest groups that resemble Forbes' Top 100 Corporations list.

Before I go on with this rant, I need to set the record straight.

I am not against making profit in a company and being successful within the community. That is what all entrepreneurs strive for.

I am against taking that profit and gaining power to effect legislation. That is wrong morally and ethically in my book. That is what Facism is based upon. The power of the money.

If I am polluting the air with my technology, I am responsible to clean it up ASAP. That is such a common sense statement that most who read it would laugh that anyone would have to say it. We all believe in personal responsibility but there are people that will take advantage of that position for their own benefit.

Those that should have cleaned up pollution when they detected it but let it accummulate because of their profit line should not only be held accountible for their lack of standards but also for their pollution clean up. If that puts them out of business then so be it. Another company, another entrepreneur will come immediately and put those people back to work. That is the way it is supposed to work but with so many special interest groups attached to the rule makers we have compromise in the market place where it should not be.

We are allowing compromise in health issues for our country in favor of profits and foreign policy. We are allowing compromise in our safety in favor of other interests. We are compromising our value in the world market. This country's technology and skills is being syphoned off by everyone else. We have the world sending their people to be educated in the best schools available, this country, and then going back to their country and using those skills to take jobs and industries away from our country.

In the meantime our "government" is trying to gain more and more control over us. They are so involved in that goal that they are not paying attention to the flow of value out of our country.

I read a prophecy more than 20 years ago that seemed rediculous to me then but much closer to reality today.

It stated that our country was going to lose it's position and influence in the world somehow. I thought at the time that it would take an awful big thing to happen. No way the US would lose their influence because we were such a strong and righteous country and the world looked at us for guidence.

Now look what has happened. Politics in this country is very bi-partisan when you look at the facts. Who is responsible for the situation that we find ourselves in as a country? Both parties. It is almost like the "good cop" vs "bad cop" scenerio where each party has agreed to be one or the other depending on who is in the majority seat. Forget the bias of each party affiliation and really look into the different associations and confederacies within Congress. They are not always at war with each other, quite the opposite. They are cooperating in their goal of becoming entrenched, sucking off of the federal teat. Once you become a house or senate member you qualify for the golden parachute set up by the past members of Congress.

Both parties are guilty of ineptness or was it on purpose?? Is the "New World Order" something to be taken seriously? Do the powers in charge of our country really believe that the US is the country to bring the New World Order to fruition?

In this prophecy, no longer were we the Super Power that could push the rest of the world around. We end up in a position of having to cooperate with the powers that emerge. At this time it looks like the power will be either China or China and others(Russia perhaps or maybe the Arab nations unite with Russia and China.) Anything is possible once we get to a point of insignificance in the world arena. That is when the Anti-Christ will show his or her face. They will become the world leader and have all of the answers to the world's problems and everyone will love this person for their leadership and their compassion.

Any way one cuts it, this country is losing it's position of authority in the world right now. We have no moral high ground for the war in Iraq. We are losing our will in Afghanistan and facing the melt down of the Middle East today.

We had the world with us when we invaded Afghanistan after the attack by Osama Bin Laden and his Saudi cohorts and we could have made a major success in the Middle East region as a result.

Instead Bush/Cheney - Cheney/Bush took us into Iraq.

Common Sense thinking has to question why did the timing have to occur the way it did?

The only answer that makes sense is the powers wanted the world to turn against us to allow some other entity to take over the leadership of the world. There was no other way it could occur. We were successful at first in Afghanistan and would have been heralded as heroes if we would have finished the job. There was a reason to keep that from happening and we don't know what that reason was...yet.

Why has this happened?

Because WE THE PEOPLE have abdicated our power to the politicians in Washington, DC and in our own front yards. Our city councils, county commisions and other local political theatre is being played out by these phoney political hacks and we allow it. Why? Is it because we have so much other things to worry about that we can't be involved? What is it that causes us not to take responsibility of our government?

Do you know who your local politician is? The one that is setting milage rates for property taxes? School taxes are being paid by the younger of our generations while the elderly become a burden on society because of our political hacks that have been in charge in the past few years. Back when our parents and their parents were in charge it changed and the crooks were allowed to get involved in setting the agenda and passing the laws. Now those crooks run every government in this country. Every county commission, every city council, it seems as though the only ones that volunteer for these jobs are the "hacks".

All of the laws governing the "everyday joe" of our country are made by these individuals. We can no longer sue our doctors if they do something avoidable to us because they have the insurance and law on their side thanks to the latest legislation passed and signed into law.

We can no longer solve our financial problems the same way as before when we were allowed to soften the blow by going through bankruptcy. Bankruptcy was never allowed to be something that it has been labeled in the recent past. Bankruptcy was the last resort before going completely broke and homeless. It saved many people from being on the street by limiting the amount of their actual worth that could be taken and distributed to debtors.

Now an individual does not have the same opportunity thanks mostly to the legislation passed unanamously by Congress from 2000 til now. Our ability to claim bankruptcy has been severely limited and when we do have to solve our financial problems such as the ones discussed, we have to go through so much more than before to solve the problem it is almost impossible for the everyday person to do but corporations can still do it as easy as before the new laws.

More "professionals" are taking their fees as they become involved. That is what most legislation passed in the last decade does, allowing attorneys, doctors, and others to get more money and slowly depleting the funds from the middle class.

Now is the time, the election of 2012, for THE PEOPLE to take our country back from the crooks. Vote them down and out!!

We can do it. But we have to be ready for one hell of a fight. The political parties are very strong. They have so much money at their disposal.

Can you imagine what we as a nation could have accomplished with the billions of dollars being spent on this election and on the war in Iraq? We could take the money spent on commercials on television alone and feed all of the starving people in this country for several months.

We need someone to take over the helm of our country that can lead us to success in the future. We do not have to be this Super Power to have influence. We can have some of the best technology in the world and no one will try and take over our country. We have to be strong but not overpowering.

We need to understand that the media is in this for the money. The media does not care whether you are Republican or Democrat. They will cause controversy in order to have it on their network. There is no telling where they will go with this type of approach to controlling the information you receive.

There is bias in the media but it cuts both ways. We just need to get more involved and more vigilant to protect our liberties and freedoms for the future generations.

Executive Previledge ? What is that?

What in the world does Executive Previledge mean? Is that just something these latest Presidents have made up for their own agendas?

We The People better watch very closely between now and the 2008 elections. Neither Party can be trusted.

Word is there is a third party candidate ready to step out. Who could it be? What Party?

Would Al Gore leave the Democrats and become an Independent and run on that ticket with Liberman as his Vice again? Will Al Gore start a new Party? Will Gingrich run on the Republican label or will he have another Party in mind?

Bob Barr might run on the Libertarian ticket. Who would be his Vice? Some say a changling from the Republican Party could go over to the Libertarian Party and become the Vice for Barr.

Independent or Libertarian? Which will come forward to claim their spot as a viable third Party in an atmosphere where The American People feel as if they have no good choices when elections come around.

"I am voting for the lesser of the two evils" is often the reason given for voting at all.

We feel as citizens of our country that we should vote and it is very frustrating when there are no choices that you want to vote for.

It is dishartening when you hear someone say they could not raise enough money to run in an election.

Money should never be the reason a person is viable. Just because someone has a lot of money does not make them trustworthy nor common sense smart.

State lotteries have made instant millionaires of many people across the country each year. Some of them cannot tell you where to vote in their town.

When this country was organized it was done by financially rich Masons. This country was an experiment in Capitalism and what these gentlemen thought of as the New World Order. The idea was to set things up to appear to have elections held across the country to elect local, state and federal government.

That is not what the founding fathers had in mind. They had in mind a combination of political agendas that would yield a nanny world with a bunch of consuming sheep living in it. Not blatant corporate facism but subverted. Create a need and then fill the need. The pharmaceutical companies are great at this technique.

They create a disease for doctors to diagnose and they creat the drug for the doctor to prescribe. The process is amazing when you look at it from all perspectives. It is most dangerous when it comes to children and the drugs they are administering to them.

No one can make me believe that all of a sudden we have this epidemic of children that need drugs to calm them down. I understand there are learning disabilities but they can be overcome and without drugs. It takes work on the parent's part and there is where the problem comes in. We have either lazy or uneducated parents in charge of kids that have no clue. That is the next generation that will be in charge of things in the future. Does that scare the crap of anyone else besides me?

Are all other political parties being ignored by media?

It kind of strikes me odd to see how little if any attention other political parties. Has anyone heard about the Libertarian Party candidates for the national ticket? How about states wide has anyone heard about their local Libertarian candidate?

How about Green? Reform? Socialist? Communist? Independent? We know of some Independent politicians so where does their party stand on the issues? Is there really an Independent Party? It seems as though the party exists but where is it's representatives.

Is Joe Libberman really a member of the Independent Party or do politicians just take that label if they cannot get their own party's endorsement?

That is the only "third party" name that gets through to the media. Everything else is pretty much ignored. Mr. Whiner as I call Joe took the Independent label to get elected knowing he could never get some of the Republicans that he knew supported him to vote for a Democrat. He had to move over to the Independent.

The Democrat Party knew all about this and went along with the whole thing right down to having a "Democrat" candidate oppose him in the run-off. It is all a show put on for the "American People".

That is what we are you know. Every politician seems to know what we want, what we are thinking, what we would like in the future... they seem to know everything about "The American People" cause they are always saying what the American People want is so and so. I get tired of hearing that because no one has asked me what I think or what I want. I am an American People. I deserve to be asked but nooooo..... they just want to think they know what "the American People" are thinking.

The funny thing about it is our politicians cannot be farther(further)? from the truth. We don't want what they say we do. We don't ask for the legislation they put forth.

No one that I know said to their Congressional representative "I want legislation that will limit my ability to come back from a bad financial decision and live a decent life again" and yet that is what one of the laws signed into law by GW has done.

The new bankruptcy law that was shoved through by our politicians limits our ability to enter bankruptcy but allowed all of the big corporations to go bankrupt just before the law came into effect(ie. Delta Airlines).

They have had time to find ways to circumvent the new legislation so corporations are free to go bankrupt if they feel the need but you and I are restricted in many ways making it much harder for us to be able to use the same 'stop-gap' measure to renew our lives.

There is other legislation passed taking your rights and freedoms and bending them to shape what the government needs to keep you in line with the status quo. That is my take on everything.

Lets hope that within the next couple of years a third party will unveil itself to be just as powerful and charismatic as some of the other candidates and give the major two parties a run for their money, so to speak....

Government In Your Life Again

Can you imagine a government that would mandate all young girls of a certain age put a particular inside of their body before they will be accepted into public schools in our nation?

That is what is happening around our country right now. State after state legislators are acting as if they know better than God about how to deal with negative results from having multiple partner sex during early puberty. Those girls that are doing this are being destructive in their lives putting their health at risk of cervical cancer brought on by the HPV. This cancer comes from the sexual activity of the girls that choose sex instead of abstenence.

Parents are supposed to sit down with their young girls and discuss the results of being reckless with their sexual lives. There are consequences that go along with being permiscous and young girls have been dealing with this for a long time before government decided to get involved.

We do not need morality or ethics legislated we need those to come naturally among the populice. If we legislate morality then how are we to know who to trust? Those that will cheat, they will now be able to hide behind legislation until they are caught. Just like gun control, only the cheats will get ahead and the rest of us will be left holding the moral line and losing the battle. That will breed unrest and anarchy eventually.

What Congress and our state legislators need to do is get off their "high horse" and come down to reality. They are not some kind of gods and they cannot tell us what drugs to put into our bodies. Stand up and be heard by these demi-gods and let them know you are not going to be led down the path of a nanny nation which is exactly what the ultra wings of each side want to see happen.

Stop all mandatory vaccinations with drugs that are not properly studied. Let us not rush into thinking our government representatives have our best interest in mind when they pass laws. Analyze the laws for yourself. Does the law restrict their behavior or just yours? Does the law benefit you or them? Does the law take away their secretive meetings and freedoms or does it restrict your freedom and take some of your inalienable rights away? ( For the good of national security.... )

The latest series of laws passed by the Republican controlled Congress was: Bankruptcy reform so you and I can no longer easily get out of a bad financial situation without enlisting the help of some lawyer that will make his or her living off of people like us. Wait a minute, lawyers made the laws where lawyers benefit? Is that legal?

It is in this country and many other things are happening around us and we only see what the media points out and that is only what is making them the most money for advertisements on their networks. Everything seems to be built around getting screwed out of as much money and as many rights and liberties that can possibly be arranged. And we vote these people back in without a second thought>

Open Letter To The United States of America's Muslim Community

To the Muslims that live in the United States:

Please forgive my boldness to speak out but I have remained silent too long.

I am a United States citizen. I was born in this country and am very proud of what we as a country have accomplished in the world up until the last few decades.

After World War II our country became involved in trying to spread democracy as we know it. That is wrong thinking for a government of a society such as that in the USA. The world can take us as an example but we should not try and force our way on any other country.

After saying that I am very proud of the way the USA will come to the aid of those that are in need around the world. We are not a selfish nation and will do anything to bring peace and harmony across the continents when called upon by other nations.

Our political leaders have gotten out of control lately. We The People no longer control our government as we used to. The people had much more power back in the earlier part of the twentieth century. We were much more united then.

After World War II that ended somehow. I was just a boy at the time but I could tell the difference. Our government began to act independently from what the majority of the citizens wanted it to do.

To make a long story short we the people of the United States have been silent too long. As you have seen in the recent past election and will see more of it in the future, we the people of this country are beginning to show our disapproval of our government and the actions taken by them. We are beginning to speak out.

Now it is your time to do the same. Many citizens in this country are asking why you have not come out with a strong statement up until now.

Fate has brought our cultures together. Please think about why you live where you live now. Did you come over to the United States of America because you felt safe and felt that you could pursue happiness as you saw fit? Is it because you felt accepted no matter which part of the Muslim community you came from?

Whether Sunni, Shiite or any other branch of the Muslim community you were accepted as a visitor and then as a citizen later on. Some of you are still waiting to become citizens but you have embraced our society. That means you owe society your respect and your loyalty. You also gain respect and loyalty by being part of that society. That is how it works in our country even though it does not seem to be that way now.

We all remain strong as a country if we remain UNITED. We cannot be strong as the DIVIDED states.

Therefore I beg of you to come forward with your profession of respect and loyalty for the country in which you live. Let all of the citizens of this great country know that you stand with them against any foreign or domestic threat.

What will this do you might ask?

It will bring your community closer together as a unit in this country and it will cement your relationship with the rest of the US society. It will bring about more security for you because of all the new friends and confidants that you will gain by stepping out and professing your displeasure and your condemnation of anyone who takes part in attacking innocent people.

The public in this country are not combatants and we have no other means to effect change other than elections and peaceful transitions. We have succeeded to keep the White House and Military apart from the Congress so we have a definite division in authority with each carrying the same power. We have kept it that way for over two hundred years now. We will be able to effect change in our government’s actions by elections and such but if we have an internal problem between communities we are facing much worse problems in the future.

We are a nation with armed citizens in every corner of our country. It would be impossible for any other government to take our country because of that. We have so many citizens that would give their life for their country and with the heavy weaponry that has been maintained “underground” with the militias across the USA, we are too strong of a country to try and conquer from without. We can be conquered from within by having internal turmoil occur between different communities. That is what is brought on by “Nationalism” that borders on bigotry which is starting to creep into our society.

It is up to each of us in this country to keep that from happening. We must come together as a nation and stand UNITED to show our strength. Not just our physical strength but our mental strength as well. There is much to be said about the power of many minds united in one thought or attitude.

The Muslim community must come out with a strong statement and a strong stance against any type of terrorism being deployed across the world in the name of Islam or in the name of Allah. The Creator that I have my faith based upon would not accept any suicide bomber into a high place in the Kingdom that we all wish to be part of in the next life. Many texts have been written specifically referring to the action of killing innocents and the punishment of death that accompanies these types of actions. Taking of one’s own life is specifically condemned as wasteful and fruitless. No creation can kill another creation without a reason.

If one has to take the life of a creature for means of food then one should thank the Creator for having this available and to take the spirit of that creature immediately to paradise. If one is attacked by another and has to kill in self defense then once again the attacked must ask for forgiveness for having to commit this action. Our Creator will judge and deal with the attacker and it is not ours to take revenge on this person. That is why killing of any other creation is not what our Creator wishes us to do however as merciful as our Creator is there are allowances made for humans to work through this life in order to qualify for the next. Otherwise none of us would qualify after going through life here on this planet today. There is so much controversy around.

Please strive to unite your Muslim community in this country and come out with one voice. Condemn the actions taken by the part of your community that is causing death and tragedy across the world. Come out with a strong voice uniting with the rest of the citizens of the USA against any foreign or domestic element trying to cause violence and death in this country as well.

Teach in your Mosques that it is wrong to hate any other person for their government’s actions.

Teach that it is wrong to be a suicide bomber and the person who blows up is immediately dead to the universe. There is no paradise for this person their spirit dies immediately. There is no spirit only death when one takes that kind of action.

Our Creator has specified certain actions for us to live by. Mohammed mentioned this many times in his teachings which were put together in your Koran and our Bible based on the same Creator that we all believe in.

Do you think it is coincidence that Jews, Christians, Muslims and all of the other monotheistic groups believe in the same Creator, the Creator of the entire universe? It is the same Creator that we all have to answer to when it comes time to report on what we did with our blessings and our lives.

Killing is one of the most specific things mentioned in all text written about our Creator and our life here on earth. This planet will be used by our Creator to bring about a Kingdom that is set up the way it was intended from the beginning. The evil spirit that is causing all of the controversy across the world is put away and unable to influence anyone’s spirit. The perfect Kingdom is set up with all living together in peace and harmony.

The US Muslim community must come out in a public way as long as it takes for everyone across the country to understand that you and your community pose no threat to the general society here. This is important for many reasons such as the security for your community.

I know you are afraid of the bad element in your community and that you feel you will be punished by them if you come out publicly against them. This may be true for a while but the rest of us will come to your side and fight with you against that element to put it down. First it must be identified and at this time it is hiding among your community and ours. It is not just within the Muslim community that this element exists but within the general population there is much consternation about what we will be facing next. If your community shows their United States of America loyalty the rest of the USA will be there for them to help in any way we can I assure you.

We are not like the country you came from. Freedom and liberties are very dear to our beliefs and harmony living together is what we strive for in this nation. At least the majority of us feel that way and we can control the rest if necessary.

One thing about this country that is true and always will be is that when the need arises we will fight together for our freedom against any foe.
We are such a strong opponent no other country has thought about defeating us but we are weakened by our divisions within the country and that must be dealt with soon.

Please have your community come out with a strong voice and make the media cover the events. Call all networks and let them know how you feel. Go on television and local radio to let the community know how you feel. Try in every way to get across to the rest of the citizens of this country that you will help defend it against any evil element.

Of course all of this is dependent on whether you want to live in harmony and peace in the first place. Do you want to have a safe and happy place for your children to grow up in? You left your birth country for a reason. You have to examine what that reason was and if you stand for peace, harmony and the pursuit of happiness for every citizen of this country.

If you do not stand for this it would behoove you to leave now while you can. There is no chance of that evil element to succeed in this country because no one will stand for it. Terrorism does not work in this country for long. It might surprise and weaken those closest to the action but the rest of us will come to their aid and will defeat anything standing in our way. That is the nature of this country and it’s citizens. That is the type of Nationalism that is strong and healthy for a country. Won’t you get your community to join the rest of us in voicing your opposition to the evil element at work in the world today?

I am sending this to you with the hopes that one community will influence another until our country is united into one strong nation again.

May our Creator bless you and your families and protect us through this trial we are all going through.

Nationalism - Can be negative

I am back to discuss Nationalsim and how it can be negative. My brother and I discuss many things during our conversations together and one of them is Nationalism.

I see Nationalism occuring in the USA where we used to have cooperative thinking.

For instance, when someone from Italy came over to this country to live they struggled to learn the english language because of two reasons: 1) They wanted to be able to exist therefore survival depended on learning the new language. 2) They wanted to fit in and be accepted by their new neighbors and their new home.

It meant something to be called an "American". Although that could mean you are from South America, Central America or North America. I always felt being from the United States of America was unique therefore should have a unique name not just "American".

How about US-American. Everyone else is hypenating their names such as African-American, Hispanic-American and Asian-American. Why not US-American? If you do not want to be a US-American then leave this country. We do not want those that hate us living among us. If you are not used to fitting in then fit out.

Being US-American says I am a member of the United States of America's citizenry and am proud of it. It says we are a United States and remain unified through all types of troubles. It says what our founding father's always wanted for this country and that is a uniqueness that is envied by the rest of the world.

What happened to that kind of Nationalism? It has been replaced by the kind of Nationalism that Hitler professed. Hitler's aim was to steal all of the resources of the surrounding countries and possibly the world's resources would have been under his command and to save the purity of the White Race. He was a bigot and tried to promote bigotry.

I hear grumblings here in this country about the Muslims, the Hispanics, the Blacks and the Elite among other groups that are being separated out. In our country's past these groups would come to this country to become part of this country and the society and not to be separated. In fact we enacted some laws that makes it against the law to segregate our public areas. We teach that it is wrong to discriminate in schools but in the pulpits discrimination is preached. Every religion believes that they are the smartest and the chosen ones waiting for their Savior. Some believe their Savior came already and will come again and there are those that are still waiting for their Savior or Messiah to arrive.

Can you imagine their surprise when they find out none of them really understood what our Creator is all about? Can you imagine the indignity most of them will feel that they were wrong all of this time? Can you imagine the scramble to be the ones that finally find the answer first? But there will be no "first" since everyone that has ever existed will learn at the same time what the truth is.

All beings will understand what life is about when the time comes.

I find it very hard to believe that our Creator has it set up for people to vanish from the face of the earth at one moment like those that believe in a "rapture" where people disappear. Can you imagine how much chaos it would cause for all types of vehicles colliding in that moment because the driver disappeared? Our Creator would never set something like that up for us.

No, I cannot be convinced that will happen. Just like I am not convinced that our Creator causes all types of disasters across this world. Not after reading the only resource books and stories that have been told and written in man's history. That is not the Creator that I read about.

Nature is what that is called. Call it evil Nature vs good Nature if you perceive it that way. Call it Satan if you perceive it that way but by all that is rational don't call it an "Act Of God". Our Creator would not put into place that which is going to kill and mame and destroy. That is not the act of a Creator. That is an act of the Destroyer. Think about it.

Why has this quote not been questioned by anyone in the past? Insurance companies have been getting away with this for so long that everyone just accepts it. We need to change that right away in my opinion.

Hurricanes and such are not "Acts Of God" but "Acts Of Nature" and not all Nature is God therefore not all Nature events are "Acts Of God".

Tornadoes, floods, pestulence are all "Acts Of Evil Nature".

Don't blame our Creator for the negative things that occur on this earth. If you will recall the "creation story" as told in all of the cultures across the world our Creator first created a spiritual world that was occupied by beings that revolted against the will of the Creator. Then a second creation occurred where humans developed. One rationale for this could be that a "trial life" was necessary for our Creator to "cull out the bad apples" or rather have them cull themselves out. That is what each of us does during our lifetime. We either cull ourselves out or we make it through the trial and into the Kingdom of our Creator.

I have no idea what this post is all about except I felt like getting these thoughts down where someone else could read them. bye for now

A Letter To The World

To all that are listening and reading from around the world, I would like to set the record straight about what the USA stands for.

Our "media"(television, radio, movies) is not the way to find out about this country and it's citizens. Do not believe the "War Mongers" throughout the world that would benefit by your being angry at the people governing our country. We are angry too but we can handle this problem in a peaceful way if you will have patience with us. That is what makes this country and our citizens so unique in the world and why people flock to live here. We will vote the people out of power and we will continue with our lives. That is the way we handle differences here in the country.

Do Not Believe What You See On Television!I have worked in the "media" industry for more than thirty years and I can tell you that if you use our media for indication of how life is in this country you will be mistaken. Our media is driven by headlines and those that cause them.

My partner and I own broadcast video equipment and have been on assignments all over the world. We have worked for every major network in the US and were independent "stringers" for Ted Turner's Cable News Network and other cable entities for twenty five years. We worked with the local Atlanta television stations to help them gather news footage at various important events. We have extensive experience working with news journalists in the field which gives us the insight needed to be considered experts in the industry.

Propaganda is used by the media to incite various actions around the country. Many believe the media is controlled by a particular national agenda and while it may be true that it is influenced by events I cannot say that one particular group has any more influence than another. The media reacts or causes reactions and only in very rare situations will the media "create" events. Only unethical reporters will stoop that low.

The current political apparatus in our country is out of control and does not represent the majority of the citizens. The media is controlled by corporate entities which makes the information "suspect" at the very least and unreliable in most cases.

Our government borders on being a fascist government which is based on Nationalism and corporate identification. Being a citizen of the United States of America and being proud of it is not nationalism as I am referring to it.

The Nationalism I refer to is that of the bigots, the one's that don't tolerate diversity in a society. Hitler and his regime was Nationalism at it's very core as is displayed by many regimes across the world. Ethnic cleansing is Nationalism at it's most dangerous level.

Over half of the citizens of this country believe that the government needs to be fixed. We believe that our representatives should be respected and dependable around the world not just in our country. Mostly we believe that the rest of the world should have a true picture of what the people of our country are like.

We believe that each person has a right to pursue their interests as long as it is not at the detriment of another person. Basically that gives every person born in this country the equal chance to pursue a life doing whatever they choose to do.

It is when a person does nothing that the system fails.

Everyone should hold their own and no one should be on total welfare unless they are put into a position of disability through no fault of their own. A husband or wife dies leaving a family in dire straights is no fault of the family and should be remedied by those of us in society that are much better off than the family. It is called "sharing" not "redistribution" as the pundits like to call it.

Our society will not throw them on the street to starve because we are civil and to do so would cause a major problem in our economy therefore it behooves us to create some type of mechanism to kick in when these sort of things occur.

We have to be vigilante to make sure no one takes advantage of this help by abusing the system. There needs to be security measures put in place. A monitoring mechanism that will report on the success or failure of particular programs. Those that do not work can be eliminated and this eliminates fraud in the long run.

We are so computer oriented in the USA and across the world that this should be an easy task for the computer hacks. I use the term "hacks" in the most endearing way.

For the most part our country is the great place that you read about but it is the people that make up the country and we are not happy with our politicians and their actions at this time.

Killing civilians ("innocents" is what the Koran calls them)kills the soul of the assailant. If the soul is dead there can be no reward after death. That is what should be taught in schools, churches, mosques, and etc. Who would give their life for nothing? Only the most radical thinking person would do that and education can help change their hearts and minds.

I wanted to publish this letter in hopes that enough people across the world will read it and pass the idea long. We, the citizens of the United States of America, hold these truths to be self evident. All people are created equal and deserve the opportunity to pursue happiness without the threat of war always in our forefront.

A Change Of Attitude

This past election shows that there are enough people paying attention to everything to show up to the polls and vote. Too bad we only had Democrat or Republican to choose from but that is the way it is set up right now.

That can be changed. Bob Barr is now exploring and trying to organize the Libertarian Party to better identify the Party. I will be interested to see and hear what the Libertarians have to offer. So far that Party has leaned too close to Anarchy for my tastes.

Anyway, my optimism has been renewed since the November elections. I no longer feel that the voters are numb to everything going on. It is obvious by this past election that there are many, like me, that are fed up with our government and want to take back over control of it.

Thanks fellow voters. You have renewed my faith in this country's citizenry. I have a much more optimistic outlook for our future. Now we have to deal with the element that is creeping into our society. It is Nationalism. This country was based on equality for anyone that will pledge allegiance to our country. Whether a person is atheist or a person believes in multiple gods and everyone in between, we are all citizens of the United States of America. We should work and play together. We should learn from each other so as to understand the rest of the world.

We cannot allow the faction that is growing in this country that is trying to divide us according to color, race, creed. We are all one people of this country and we need to remember that.

Wake Up USA - Our Country Is Being Hijacked

Did you know that when the Supreme Court hands down a ruling it does not mean it will become law of the land?

Only if it is perceived as being "law" by the majority of American citizens will it become law of the land.

It seems that most of the decisions the Court has made in the past do reflect the majority of the citizen's view. Those decisions that did not reflect the majority were not about specific things that the majority worried about so those laws were not appealed by the public. It has not always worked out that the majority of the people agreed with a decision handed down by the Supreme Court. When that occurred the people overturned the decision. That is what our legal system is all about in this country and why this country has always been envied throughout the world.

NO OTHER COUNTRY IN THE WORLD CAN SAY THEY ARE AS OPEN AS OUR LEGAL SYSTEM ALLOWS.

We THE PEOPLE are not taking advantage of this system. We are allowing the Congress and the White House dictate to us what is "right for us". How many times have you heard a member of the White House or Congress say "this is what the American People want" and it was not what you personally wanted? What are you, chopped liver? Last time I looked I was an American citizen and many of the things being quoted as "what the American people wanted" is not at all what I would have wanted. Is that happening to you? If you answered "yes" then we have to take the example of those citizens who fought for their rights in this country in the past.

The precedence (this is a fancy word for something that has happened in the past that was accepted by the majority of citizens and our legal system as part of our "rule of law") the people did not agree with the Supreme Court and overturned it's decision was set in 1793.That is when "THE PEOPLE" would not accept a ruling concerning property ownership in the Chisholm v Georgia case. Congressional members were urged by their constituencies(that is the people that live in the district or state that the representative lives in) to adopt an amendment (17th) which made the Supreme Court ruling obsolete. "THE PEOPLE" had spoken. This prerogative of "THE PEOPLE" keeps the law fair throughout the land. We have to be proactive and not reactive to keep things fair in this country. That is what we are about as a PEOPLE.The ruling in the Roe v Wade case was really about individual rights and not the actual abortion procedure. It says that all women have a right to decide on their own, with their doctors, whether or not to abort a particular pregnancy. It does not say abortion is a good thing. It does not say abortion is a bad thing. What it says is the government and the rest of the citizens of the country should stay out of each others business. None of us have a right to make a decision for another person unless they are put under our supervision and we are given the right to make decisions for them.We only have the right to make our own decisions. Therefore, the highest court in our system should not have the right to make a decision for any one person either. The Supreme Court is there to render a final decision based on the law of the land and THE PEOPLE have the right to accept or reject that decision.

That is the system we have set up however the people can waive their rights at any time and allow the federal government to intrude on their life and dictate to them what they must do and how they must live. That is what we have done in this country today.

On the other hand, the people could stand up for their rights and demand the federal government to act accordingly. They work for us. We pay their salaries. They have no right other than those that we THE PEOPLE bestow on them. That seems to have been forgotten in our mainstream society today. People seem to want to abdicate all things to the federal government. These people are saying to leave them alone to live their lives as best they can. They don't want to be involved in the everyday operations of our country.Others of us understand where the federal government should be and how it should be serving THE PEOPLE and making decisions that most of us agree with.

That is the purpose for this entry into my blog.

If I can wake up just one or two people with this entry, it has served it's purpose.Now ask yourselves these questions:

Do you agree that Congress should be able to give themselves a raise any time they want to?Or would you rather vote them a raise now and then?(If this became the situation you would see a bunch of these guys that say they are "doing it to serve our country" leaving Congress and their "service for the country" as soon as they saw their "free lunch" going away.)

Do you agree religion should be a basis for which legislation is passed?Or would you rather have legislation based on equality and fairness across all religions?

Do you agree with relaxing air and water quality standards in our country?Or would you rather have legislation creating tough standards for our industries to follow?

Do you agree that the drug war is worth the money and energy this country puts into it?Or would you rather see the reasons for drug use addressed and truthful education put forth?

Did you agree with starting the Iraq War?Or would you have rather continued to keep Sadam Hussein under guard and under watch until we could gather enough help from the rest of the world to do the job correctly?

Do you agree that the Iraq war has to be "won" before we get out of the country?Or would you rather see our citizens return safely and have help from the rest of the world to train the Iraqis?

Do you agree that our country should disassemble the safety net that has been put in place in regard to Medicare and Social Security?Or would you rather see an incentive given for the younger generations to think more about their future and their financial security along with the safety net in place.(note: Social Security was put in place because most people have very little money to save for their future. Social Security at least forces them to save something for their future and makes the companies that live off of their efforts contribute some to their future. What is wrong with that idea?)

Do you agree that the United Nations organization is a bad idea?Or would you rather have this organization in place to help solve problems between nations that we don't want to be going to war against each other?

All it would take is for "THE PEOPLE" to rally for any cause they considered important enough. If the civil action was taken in all of the districts across the country such as marches, sit ins, and many of the actions that were taken by THE PEOPLE in the past when bad decisions were made by the Supreme Court, during civil rights issues, during the Viet Nam war, and being taken today by people against the Iraq war.This "turmoil" over who is allowed to serve on the Supreme Court bench is smoke and mirrors by this government on both sides of the ailes.

They are playing out their parts as Congress in this great "play" the government puts on for "THE PEOPLE". (I don't hear any singing so it cannot be called a "musical" although the politicians can certainly dance)The "play" is picked up by the media because the media get their cues from the politicians. As one looks at the list of media owners today it reads like a who's who in the Corporate circus. That means the "liberal biased" media the Conservatives talk about is owned mostly by Conservatives.They are not liberaly biased any longer(if they ever were?) since our federal overseers thought it was a good idea to relax legislation put into place in the past to keep the media as fair as possible and allow more media outlets to be owned by one main corporation.

Now as you compare the ownership with the outlets owned one can see the coverage that has been set up.This list of Conservatives I mentioned earlier owns outlets including radio, television, newspapers, cable systems, the gamut of media outlets. They are spread over the country in such a way to cover the major metropolitan areas where significant voters reside.

For instance, in one particular area of the country one Corporate owner(ie: Clear Channel, FOX, and etc.) could own the CBS, NBC, ABC, WB affiliates which means they control the entire media feed into that area. A story that plays in that particular area may not play anywhere else in the country or just the opposite they might not run a story that is running throughout the country. In effect, controlling the information given to voters.

If it is not total censuring it becomes a "twisting of perspective" giving a false inference with their stories reported.The only place we have freedom or at least "perceived freedom" is on the internet however now there is such technology that even the net could be controlled and monitored.

It probably is controlled because of our need for "homeland security".Isn't that what the facist called Germany, the HOMELAND? MOTHERLAND was another name they used a lot. Trying to stir up nationalism so THE PEOPLE would support the "cause". If the people had not cooperated with Hitler Germany would not have started the European part of WWII. They would have never invaded the other countries around them had THE PEOPLE resisted. Many of them tried but were killed. Had the majority resisted Hitler, he would not have been able to cause the problems he did. The majority of Germans did not know what was going on. They were in the middle of financial turmoil and did not bother to understand what their government, Hitler in particular, had in mind.

All of my ranting in this blog has been to try and wake people up to the fact that we do not have to continue down this path that both the Democratic and the Republican parties have taken us down for the last few decades. We do not have to accept any laws that the majority of the people do not agree with. We are not a dictatorship country so wake up and make a difference!

The only peaceful way of doing things is civil disobedience within the laws and voting for the people that will make changes. Not just the "other" party but for a significant change.

WE NEED A THIRD PARTY to put forth a person that can be trusted with our future.WE THE PEOPLE can take back this country without violence. This is the vision that Martin Luther King Jr. had in his dream. The majority of American citizens showing a UNITED PEOPLE standing up for those that cannot.After all of this crap being fed to us by these guys in Washington, DC we still have the most effective way to deal with them. We can vote them out of office and we can put in someone we trust. But first we have to find someone we can trust. Right? Yahoo! Where are you? So far, I must say they are not making themselves visible for us to see.

Be patient and look deep into someone's soul before voting for them. See if they really are representing you or are they representing the party and it's agenda. No matter what the party affiliation, make your politician show you how he feels. Don't just listen to what they say and believe them. Make them prove to you beyond a shadow of doubt that they are representing what you believe and what you would put your life on the line for. After all that is what we are asking the military personnel we employ is it not?It is not necessary to worry about who is on the Supreme Court if the majority of "THE PEOPLE" don't agree with a particular ruling.

THE PEOPLE" can make anything happen in this country because WE ARE THE COUNTRY.We used to be a proud and strong-willed people that settled the frontier going west until we hit the other ocean. Now most of us would not travel far at all to settle down. Let alone pee in a can or crap in a hole in the ground. Think about what our forefathers accomplished... without toilet paper!And we seem to like the "status quo" plan. As long as it does not effect us or someone close to us, we don't pay much attention to it. For instance, the Patriot Act I & II. Those acts are dangerous in the wrong hands. Therefore they should not be there in the first place. I was a psychology major in college and one of the lessons we learned was that absolute power will be taken advantage of eventually. That is why we must have checks and balances along the way for everyone in power or in a position of leadership. (Once those checks and balances are taken away it is simply a matter of time before the ego and pride in a human take over.) The same goes for our intelligence community.If the FBI, CIA, "whatever" cannot do their jobs efficiently enough to protect the country with these checks and balances in place then we need an overhaul and new management that can find a way to do it. Not just a change in President but an overhaul which takes the Congress into play as well. Right now there are in place men that are suppose to be collecting certain intelligence information to keep our highest level leadership involved and up to speed. These people have not received the proper training in life to be able to be effective, efficient guardians of our security.

Read the Intelligence Committee report regarding our men in the military. When it comes to "grunts" ( these are individuals that are part wild animal and part civilized man) we have the best trained in the world. There is no army in the world that can defeat us on the battlefield but we are vulnerable in the intellegence field. I mean that as it sounds.When I was in the intellegence branch of a service for four years I noticed an overall level of education. As my recruiter said only 10% of people qualify to become part of that branch of service I felt confident in my fellow soldier. If you read the IC report it states that our level of intellegence is one that could be compared to the level of an elementary student.Today's generation of 18-35 year olds is not less intellegent than their dads and granddads, they are just spoiled more. If that could be possible to spoil a person more than I was...but I digress.

Today's kids are spoiled by having immediate gratification with everything from cars to school. In the past, school was not a given. If your dad was not well off enough to send you to college, you had to work your butt off to get there. It became so hard and competitive it discouraged some from even trying. They did not have the initiative to try and get ahead so they fell behind. Since then, many have given up and rely on whatever they can get from society and they take the rest from someone else. Or they do without because they don't even have the incentive or initiative to steal something. In this day and time it is no excuse to say I'm black or I'm poor or I'm oppressed...whatever the excuse that is being put forward. Unless you are born into slavery you have every opportunity to make a career for yourself. The military service is not a bad place to start life. The discipline and organization that is taught stays with a person throughout their lives. That is if they learn discipline and organization. What I am saying and apparently the IC report agrees with, is that kids now days are not taught the right things to get them through life. Either at home, at school, or in the military service.

The Pentagon operates under any party elected. It has been set up that way for a reason. There should be no politicizing any war effort(not agenda but the military's efforts) nor should there be any politicizing the military. A war effort should be apolitical and our military has always been able to act accordingly in the past. We have to keep it that way now. Whether we have a Republican, Democrat, or some other party that may come along. (We need a third party to come along to be the alternative many of us are looking for.) A party that will lead this country into higher levels of technology, ethics, morals, and show the image to the world that most of us believe about this country. The military has to work with whatever party is in leadership. Notice I did not say "power" I said "leadership". This is a perspective we all must adopt if we are to be successful as a coherent society. No party is in "power" or we are in trouble.We are a benevolent society and will help anyone in the world that we can. The reality of it all is we have to be safe and self sufficient in order to be strong enough to exist in this world. Towards that goal is where I would like to see our efforts be the strongest in this country.

It does not take a special decree to overturn a ruling from the Supreme Court. So we should not allow this smoke and mirrors "play" to continue. It does not take any special legislation because the founding fathers had the wisdom to put in place a system that the majority of THE PEOPLE rule.Rule of law is the bedrock that our country was built upon. It took many years before we could be called the UNITED STATES and now that is falling apart due to political affiliations.We have taken our instinct of survival and competition to heights that are disturbing. We analize everything based on our lust for competition. You either WIN or you LOSE. WIN at all costs and screw the opposing team with every measure available. It is okay to forget about morals and ethics when it comes to most competitive sports these days. That attitude has carried over into the everyday lives of many citizens and our politicians because they are caught up in the competition of it all. (This must come to a halt. We must get our focus back on the country and our place in this world.)

My brother is a perfect example of a person lost in their own zeal to participate in the system. He is a born again Republican. That is not to be confused with a legitimate born again person that feels reborn in the light of the Creator. A born again Republican will support the party no matter what. Some, like my brother, don't agree with the corner stones of the party and yet will support it just to be "against" the other party. He, like many others, believe in freedom of choice in an abortion. He believes that our Drug War is wrong and it should not be waged. He has many aspects of his life dependent on the corporate structure and has fallen prey to that industry therefore the Republican party is his only hope.The problem with fanatics is they will tell little white lies or even big lies to further their agenda and they will talk over you in a conversation in order to get their point across. They say it is done because their point is the most important and they feel that they will change your mind if they get their point heard even though they are not listening to you and your point ever. Forget they told a lie just remember they have good intentions. Their agenda is the right one for everyone and they will not listen to the opposite sides views or try and see their perspective. To them that is a sign of weakness. To not be totally convicted is a sign of weakness. To be in the "middle" (this is where most of us reside) is to show signs of weakness. They don't understand the concept of anyone else being right or even having a legitimate idea that does not agree with theirs. You cannot talk to a person like that you can merely listen. Any attempt at discourse will be met with interruptions and yelling.On the other hand take a born again Democrat. They feel that they have been taken advantage of all of these years so it is revenge time for them. Every breath they take is calculated to a reaction by the Republicans. Every path they take is to undermine something that the Republicans are doing or saying. They are not thinking about THE PEOPLE they are thinking about themselves and how to compete with the Republicans. They are thinking about ways to WIN the next election. They don't do anything for the PEOPLE when they get elected they just keep getting re-elected. They think the role of the government is to be a "nanny" of a sort. If you don't agree with them then you are for the "other side". Neither of them are even contemplating another party coming into the fray. Almost as if they know a third party would never have a chance of succeeding. The one thing they don't contemplate is the majority of the people getting together for one cause. They think we are so divided that we could never come together on a common cause. THAT IS THEIR MISTAKE and THE PEOPLE's advantage.Neither of them are thinking about you and me. Whether you are Republican or Democrat you have been forgotten about until election time comes. They make it every two years so we can really never forget the competition and exist without controversy. If there is no action the media will find some.Just check out the legislation that has been passed this yearand signed into law. Nothing to benefit you and I. Nothing to benefit the country as a whole. The legislation put in place this year was simply moves by the Right and Left to set standards that they want us to live by. Standards in limiting bankruptcy, malpractice suits, envasion of privacy, and nothing in limiting businesses comitting fraud, pharmaceutical companies inefficiency, fraudulent medical practices, and etc. In order to protect insurance companies from large claims the doctors are able to buy insurance protecting them from malpractice suits which protects the doctors but now who is protecting the "victim", which could be you or me actually.That legislation satisfies politicians' medical and pharmaceutical supporters and works to protect the large companies. Two very big contengencies for every politician. The only way to be elected to any office of government you have to have large caches of money. Why? Because it costs large amounts of money to get advertising on television at times that people are mostly watching. The networks and the advertisers know what stations, which time of the day, and what their average audience does for a living and how much they make. All of this based on people responding to surveys conducted by the various entities such as Gallop surveys.Of course if we take a random survey of a particular area we can expect the results to lean towards the culture of the area surveyed. Rich will yield "rich" results and Poor will yield "poor" results. A more diverse survey would include rich, poor, and middle income individuals from all across the area being surveyed. Results can be manipulated to suit the agenda of the survey too easily to allow the results be more than curious information.Back to the test of government for the people or on the backs of the people. With the new legislation passed this past summer, we cannot go bankrupt under the same terms as in the past. They have restricted us from being able to clear our names, or get our lives back together again after a setback in our finances unless we get access to a sharp attorney. In the meantime all of the biggie corporations(think Delta and Northwest) are going bankrupt now to take advantage of the past laws. They are going to abandon their employees pension plans, leaving them for the taxpayers to foot the bill and that leaves all of the burden of the new law squarely on the middle class of this country, you and I. So much for companies and loyalty to their workers. If it were not for the educated workforce our corporations would not be where they are today. If they think they will be able to operate with unskilled and undereducated workers because of the computers in place, they will be wanting to get skilled labor back within ten years. In the meantime, many lives were ruined and had to pick themselves up and go at life once again.Since there are more middle class workers and tax payers out there than there are millionaires, we are the ones paying most of the taxes regardless of what one might tell you. That sounds rediculous at the surface because "certainly millionaires and billionaires are paying more than you and I". NOT TRUE. More people yields more money, even if it is at a lower rate. Some of us are in the 12 - 20% group of wage earners. We pay all of that money in to the taxman. Now, let's talk about those in the 21-30% bracket. They have "write-offs" they can take from their gross income, just as we all do, but their write-offs offset a lot more money than any we can come up with. They can afford to have their taxes calculated for them by a professional that knows every nook and cranny of the tax laws and how to take advantage of every provision. Most of us cannot afford the taxes let alone the tax preparer. We pay what we have to and they pay only what they cannot get out of.Those of us in that middle range of income, working our asses off to make a living and build a future are paying most of the taxes. Especially after the tax cuts under this latest administration. More of the tax burden was switched to us in the middle. It was magic!Who has the money to hire sharp attorneys and accountants to work our finances around so we could take advantage of the tax laws?Who has the money to invest and make the stock market move in their favor with heavy computer trading available to them?Who lobbies Congress and make legislation occur?Who contribute large amounts of cash and support with meeting facilities, services, and etc. to political parties in order to get favorable legislation passed?If you said "I do" to any of the preceding questions then you should recognize what this blog is all about...YOU.In my opinion the politicians want to keep as many people confused about everything and not teach them their rights as citizens. They don't want the majority of the voters to understand what they are voting for. Sounds strange but it is the truth. The more confused you are the better it is for most politicians. They get re-elected from apathy more than from deserving to represent the people.They enjoy their jobs and they like their pensions/healthcare program that we all pay for. We give them a salary to represent us. We are claiming to each other that we don't have enough time to go to our nation's Capitol and argue for our own needs so we just let them do their job as our representatives. Right? Who really checks to see how our representatives are voting? The local ones are easier to watch but the ones in Washington, DC use Smoke and Mirrors to deceive us all into thinking they are working for us. Ask any politician if they really listen to their constituencies. They take the fact that they were elected by the people as their mandate to doing anything THEY feel is right. Not what the people want him to do but what HE/SHE wants to do.WE THE PEOPLE are abdicating our responsibilities and we want Congress to do it's magic to make every service work well, to keep the roads level and smooth, to keep gas in the pumps at a low price, to have the strongest military in the world and etc.We are a society of demands and expectations. If the politicians take a little "graft" on the side as we go along that is fine unless they try and take too much. NOT a good thing. Right?Why has this happened in our country? A country founded by God loving men and women who wanted a different life. They wanted to live in a country where anyone was welcomed as long as each pitched in and did their part. They wanted to live in a country where there was peace and harmony with your neighbors. Yes they did separate into groups as they settled but that is only natural to want to be around those that grew up as you did. Same food, same music, same culture was the draw and rightly so.We found a way to get over the differences and play up the common ground. We all wanted freedom to pursue our lives as we saw fit. We wanted to cohabitate with each other to a point. We enjoyed learning about other cultures as we came together. It was the "American" experience that everyone heard about. The lust for adventure, the initiative to always look forward and bring new technology to market. The tolerance of one another's beliefs. Always remembering our roots as human beings and that the Creator made us all in God's image. We all have some of God's DNA. That truely makes us all brothers and sisters. God of all men and women on earth is our common ground and should be remembered by everyone.We are all immigrants or sons of immigrants in this country. If you do not live on a reservation or have an ancestor who did, you are an immigrant to this country. Back when the second rush of immigration to this country was at it's peak we welcomed immigrants with open arms. Why? They were going to help us build this land into the strongest country in the world. Guess What. That generation and the next generation did what they said they would do. It is up to the next generations to continue to keep us in the driver's seat of the world as far as technology and quality of life is concerned.I am afraid that the new generations are too accepting of an oppressive government. It seems as though we parents have made it too easy for them. We wanted them to have more than we did. Well, it worked...Now we have to light their fire!My son's generation and the following generations are going to have to be stewards of this accomplishment. To be good stewards we have to think about what the founders of this country had in mind.Our forefathers were not cruel people but did some very cruel things to succeed in creating our Republic. Mistakes were made in the past but we can get over that very easily. Accept that man is human and will make mistakes however inate in man is God and his image and that will come out sooner or later.Slavery was cruel at times. Some slaves were mistreated and that is shameful for those that committed those crimes against man. It should not be something that a person of this day could be held accoutable for. Unless you are a member of the Aryan Nation and hate everyone who is not white.The Dutch were the first to raid the villages in Africa and bring the African people to the English and to the Caribbean in order to work the plantations on the islands there. Once the American plantation owners heard about this "free" labor, they ordered up some of it too. (NOT GOOD)After they were sold to Americans, many blacks were happy to be in this country even though they were slaves. They had been taken from villages where the biggest mud hut marked the home of the village's leader. Everyone else was subject to the leader and many people suffered in those villages. They were taken away from what most of us would say was not a good situation and brought into this country. Those people who mistreated any other human will be judged by God in good time.Many slaves were treated humanely and eventually realized they were better off and were cooperative with their owners. Many of them stayed on their farms or plantations even after they were freed from slavery. Those slaves made a life possible for their decendants who now live freely in our country. It seems that reverse racism exists here in this country. Many of today's blacks are very racist and hate all white people. They need to be resisted by our society and put down at every turn.When Lincoln finally issued the Emmancipation Proclamation owning slaves had become a political football. Many died defending their idea of what this country is all about. Families split apart due to a political agenda. Not philosophies. It was an agenda. It had nothing to do with cruelty to blacks or keeping slaves except as a commodity.The Civil War was about whether or not the southerners with the plantations were going to win out against the corporate wheels in our industrial complex. It was whether some states could have a different view from the others and remain United. Apparently they could not do it without trying to kill each other over it. Ultimately it was all about MONEY and the control of it.The southern plantation owners had large populations of slaves to work their fields. Some northerners also used slaves, such as the Washington's, Jefferson's, and other prominent families but the majority of slaves lived in the south. Slaves were considered partial humans so plantation owners with many "partial humans" could claim more "whole humans" living in their areas by adding all of the slaves to the census. More people in a district yields more money from taxes to fix roads, build bridges, build dams, and etc. In our system of government there is a certain formula by which tax money is redistributed for the good of the country. In order to get more of that federally administered money the various states try to show more residents. More representation in Congress means more tax money will be allocated into your state or district.Southerners used their large slave population to get more representation and money. Northerners were furious over the imbalance of funds being doled out to the south. The northern federal government (think large industrial corporations) did not like being "one-upped" by the south (think cotton, tobacco, sugar) so they declared slavery illegal to cause problems in the southern Confederate States. Not only would the plantations have to pay their workers instead of having free labor, the states would not get more tax money than the northern states. Many of the freed slaves were going north to make a home and they were adding to their roles in the census and getting more tax money dispersed to the northern states.The Confederate States were not going to have that happen so they ceded from the union and stood ready to fight over their State's Right To Free Choice whether or not to have slavery. They still wanted to be able to count their slaves and get all of that work for nothing. That war over "states rights" and not "slavery per se" was fought because of a political agenda and not a moral one. Men and women died because of a political agenda. Sound familiar? Many "slaves" fought on the side of the Confederate Army because they felt the South was the righteous side in that battle. If they were being so mistreated why would they have done that? By the way, blacks were used by the Northern Army to run native American Indians off of their land too. Look at the history of the "buffalo soldiers" used out west.Depending on who is in the White House and who is controlling Congress we can either have a "WE THE PEOPLE" government or one that is self centered and has an agenda that is based on federalism and not Democracy.This present government which is a product of the Left and Right extremes is so messed up that it can have aid supplies parked at the border of a state and not be able to communicate with the authorities of that state to get permission to come in during a natural disaster.Military and federal government not being able to move through states without permission is a great idea and should stay in place. Get a way to communicate during an emergency is all that is necessary. The technology is there and cheap by comparison to terrorist attacks or a natural disaster and the aftermath of them. We do not need to change the "Posse Comotadus" act that is in place to keep the federal government from coming into a state unless requested by the state. This keeps our federal government and the military personnel under our control as United States citizens. That is why each state's Guard is necessary. Our state's Guard should be under the command of the state's governor and the federal military should come in only when asked. The state's Guard should be in contact with the federal military when needed and the White House when needed. Don't forget they are supposed to be different but in the same chain of command.This inability to communicate between federal and state governments in today's time is a major blunder. Certainly there should be a central communcation device that each emergency unit could be in touch with. Something like "On Star" where one has the ability to contact a central operator who dispatches from where they are. A central "911" number that everyone would know. A computerized system could be installed to filter calls but also be user friendly enough to allow a person to utilize it in an emergency. It should be powered independently and totally self sufficient in the time of emergency.All of that will be available in another five to ten years. What happens between now and then is most important and something we all have to think about.Let's hope we are all here to talk about this again in ten years. Right?

What does the United States of America Stand For?

Readers....if there are any?

Have you asked yourself the question: "What does my country stand for?"

We all should examine that question. Do you believe that our government is doing what you would do in their absence? Would you have reacted to the things happening in the world the same way as our present government reacted?

These are people that are supposedly elected to represent us. But we don't ask the hard questions when they do something in the name of the United States of America which is all of it's citizens.

I have heard many people talking and the same statement seems to cross all racial, ethnic, religious boundaries: "I just don't understand why so many people in the world hate us(United States of America citizens). "We are not a bad country that deserves people attacking us" is another statement I hear.

Are we a bad country? Do we have the wrong representation to the world getting out? Are the wrong people(all parties included) in political office in our country? Do we have the wrong government in place?

Does our government truly represent the Majority of citizens in this country or do they represent a very vocal twenty to twenty-five percent of our country. After all, that is all who vote on election day so that must be the reason for their influence.

I know there are probably some very nice, cordial, and perhaps charismatic people in our Congress but for the most part citizens they do not take the Majority into mind when enacting legislation. The Majority of the citizens in this country do not go along with what has been put into place but we do not know what to do about it and our lives are so busy we have to pray that our representatives don't do something that really hurts us in the long run....

As you have probably guessed by now I am leading to the fact that they already have done it. Congress and our President have led us into a position in the world where we have to say we are hated worldwide now and most of us would never have allowed it to get this way if we were really in charge as we should be. We The People is not just the preamble words they are very important words as they were to the authors. We The People are the legal, caring citizens of the United States of America.

True. Most of us were not persuaded to make the USA our homes because we were previledged to be born here. We better start acting like United States of America's citizenship or we are going to lose our country.

I am a Viet Nam veteran and I do not have post traumatic stress and this is not a rant.

Our country was attacked by Osama and his organization of thugs around the world. Our representatives allowed Osama to gain that kind of power because they built his organization for him. He needed it to recruit fighters during the Afganistan war with Russia and we sooooo wanted to defeat Russia.

We missed our opportunity in Viet Nam and Korea. After all we were courting China and we did not want to have anything like a war get in the way of our relationship with China. But Russia, we did not want them involved in any victory of war so we fought the hell out of them, especially in Viet Nam. When we captured the enemy whether from the north or a southern fighter we found Russian weaponry and accessories. Russian watches we a great find. The spoils of the war you might say. :) I never said I did not take advantage of my position as the winner in the fights that I was involved in. Call me mercinary if you like but my butt was on the line and I deserved some of the spoils.

Anyway, back to our illustrious "leaders?". Here we are again. Back in a war that did not have to happen in a region that we have no reason to be in. Except maybe to secure the oil for the purpose of keeping economic chaos from happening because of the reserves that exist over there....

Do you see the predicament? Our government saw the potential of a total shutdown of many institutions across the world simply with shutting off oil from the Middle East.

Okay, granted they are not all a bunch of losers and buffoons but common sense shows anyone that attacking Iraq at the time we did was not necessary. We had Osama in a position where we could have pressured him to surrender or at the least kill the mf. But instead our government chose to attack another country and to lie to all of us as to why they had to do that immediately.

I don't know many people that would have said yes to that plan of action that was done in our names, the citizens of the USA. We cannot disconnect our lives away from these actions. Each of us has to take responsibility for these actions and the future actions of our country's representatives.

I am sure that by this time you have noticed that the elections are held in such a way that the voters could not replace all of Congress in one election. Also politicians are relying on the fact that most of us are not "Congressional material". Either we don't have the time to dedicate to the job, the feeling of civic service that would be needed(it is evident to me that not many of our present representatives have the latter) to represent our country. We have families that need us or we have companies that need us or some other excuse and thus we elect them to represent us.

Have you looked at the perks of the job?

Over one hundred and forty thousand dollars salary for a part time job(the hours are not full time hours). They receive a pension and healthcare plan that is the envy of the corporations operating in our country. Doesn't that sound good to you?

What a job. You show up at the great halls each day you are in D.C. and sit on your ass in an office until you have to go vote for legislation. You vote according to your party's wishes and you go home at the end of the day. You don't have to listen to any of the so-called speeches in those halls because no matter what is said you have your vote decided and are just waiting for the time to go vote. The news media is way ahead of the citizenship and have published the vote tallies before the vote takes place. How could they know? It is decided way ahead of time and concessions on both sides(Rep & Dem) and everyone goes home feeling good about what has taken place.

In the meantime we are at war or hated by many more countries than in our history. Our forefathers are rolling in their graves everytime legislation occurs that takes more and more of our freedoms and rights away in the name of "security". The media is allowed to scare the hell out of us and slant everything towards the need for more security therefore we can afford to give away more freedoms and rights. The theory is that if you are Middle Eastern you are either connected to a terrorist or you are a terrorist. Can you imagine what it would be like to be Middle Eastern here in this country about now? About as popular as being black was back in the earlier part of the 1900's. Not until the 1960's did integration take hold and it was not without it's problems. They still exist today.

Most races, colors, ethnicities; whatever you decide to call groups of people want to be with others that share their culture. If they grew up Middle Eastern they want other Middle Easterners to live near. Why? We humans developed villages for social needs and if I am in another culture's social environment I feel like a person out of touch with my surroundings. It may take a couple of days before I could feel as if I fit in and maybe I could never feel that way. After all I was brought up near Atlanta, Georgia in the United States of America. Give me an evironment that resembles my upbringing and I could feel very much at home.

Can you imagine being a black in the old south? Can you imagine what it would be like if you were a Catholic in the Protestant part of Northern Ireland? I cannot imagine that because I have always lived in the United States of America. What makes the USA different from these other countries where I would not fit in is our culture. I feel at home in any state in our beautiful country.

The United States of America is filled with some of the most loving, caring people that any country has. You can settle in most neighborhoods in this country and feel right at home...
unless you are Middle Eastern, Black, Brown, Yellow, you could settle in any neighborhood and feel right at home. No wonder enclaves of each race are beginning to increase.

When I grew up it would not be very long after you moved into your home that someone from the neighborhood would welcome you and most of the time offer you a baked item to let you know someone went out of their way to welcome you to the area. What a great feeling! You were accepted into the area. Others would go out of their way to let you know they were happy to see you as well. People would wave as you drove by. Unless you were Black. It seems there was always an exception when it came to Blacks. No wonder they are pissed off.

Like that guy in California that was taken out of his truck and beaten half to death said afterwards: "Can't we just all get along?".

What is wrong with that idea? All of us getting along? What happened to that United States of America where I grew up. That USA that I voluteered to protect with my life both as a civilian and a member of the military. Where is that country?

Well, let's examine the elements of our citizenry. Right down to the illegal citizens that are more of a burden on our society than any other problem we have. It is not their faults. It is our representative and their representatives that are at fault and that is the whole purpose of this blog. To point out the good, the bad, and the ugly. To point out that we need to take back over the daily, weekly, monthly, and annual operation of this country. We need to elect more people that don't really want the job but will take it because of their "civic duty".

How do we find those representatives? We advertise for them just like every corporation does. We look for the people that will go to Congress and the White House and do the "will of the people". We need representatives that will take a pay cut, forget about the golden parachute at the end, and really want to serve the country and not "milk the country's treasuries".

People unite and let's us find those representatives. If not, dwell in the dung heap that you allow to occur and don't complain about the lousy representation that you have in Congress. Don't ask the stupid question "why do people hate us?" because it will be fairly evident to you by then, they hate us because there are do nothing people like you that allow our representations to be flawed. Elect only those that you perceive as not wanting the job so badly. That is the smart tactic. Don't vote along party lines vote the person. In fact, if they align themselves along party propaganda that would be a sure sign not to vote for them.

Don't be fooled by those that go "independent". That is just another way of saying "I will not take defeat until I am totally defeated". You do not survive total defeat. You lose everything. That is why most wars end in some type of concession on both sides. Those that "stay the course even when that course is failing" cause more negative results than positive ones.

Show up on election day and write in your candidate for office. Pick someone that would do the job well but does not particularly want the job. Someone that will represent you honestly.

All of you citizens that are old enough to vote if you do not vote in this election you will have lost the right to be called an United States of America citizen in my opinion. This next one is most important because the very country that was established to be a beacon to everyone that desired a good life and a fair living is being tested. We The People must take a stand once again for our country. Otherwise you can kiss your country goodbye. Time is getting short for those that care about this country to make a difference. If we don't use our power as a large group of caring and loving citizenry we will become the minority in this country and our country's legacy will be lost forever.

We must take this country back from the facism that is at work here in this country. Look up the meaning of the word. Put very concisely it means corporate influence over governmental affairs. It means corporate influence over the operations of the entire country. Whatever the corporate level wants our legislative body provides. The President is a figurehead individual that thinks they are making important decisions but those decisions are made by proxy and echoed by the individual occupying that office of USA's leader. The Board is making those decisions as it does in the corporations.

One must take the time to research the inner workings of our country. Look who is on each company's board of directors and you will be so surprised to learn that they serve on each others boards and help make decisions that they have agreed on ahead of the meetings.

We cannot all be just robots. When people talk of the United States of America in relation to Babylon, "the whore Babylon", they are referring to the Bible teachings speaking of the "end times" and the rising of the Third Roman Empire that will reign for many years. These passages give examples of what to look for in these "times" and mentions how things will play out for several years until God saves our world from becoming totally destroyed.

The amazing thing about that story is that in each major Religion they have a story that says something about an ending of this era and a new one beginning. Some think these are the "end times" that the Bible refers to. Others who have studied Mayan culture think December of 2012 is when a new beginning will occur. Jesus Christ, when interviewed, mentioned that his life was to fulfill a prophesy. Christ said, according to Biblical references, "do not worship me". He always referred to The Father when he spoke according to the stories. Thousands of years before Jesus, Ezekiel, David, and others spoke of the times of Jesus and beyond. There was prophesy to fulfill and someone had to be put to death as a symbol for all who loved God to follow. God's son had been crucified because of his love for his Father. He preached about a loving God and a tolerant God and the zealot Jews of that time were having a hard time dealing with Jesus. He was becoming way too popular and their power over the people was waning. In a few years Jesus would have really changed the world with his teachings but...that was not the reason for his birth and he always reminded those around him of this. The apostles knew Jesus to be very capable of overwhelming the Romans and the Jews but Jesus would always remind them that soon he would be put to death because of God's teachings and that they needed to prepare for that time. "Many will be called but few will follow" is another quote from those Biblical teachings. Contemplate on that statement and then look around at the billions and billions of people on this planet. Few are going to follow.

That is what scares me more than anything. I will be among the few and that is not a good feeling to be outnumbered by those that think differently than you do.

That is why it is so important to try and put this inevitability off for as long as we can because we are responsible for this planet as well as our own neighborhoods. We need to vote for the person that we think will represent the citizentry of the United States of America with our interests in mind each time legislation is introduced. Someone that we will be proud of when they represent us to the world. Right now we are in trouble with the rest of the world for being so beligerant. We are not that type of people so that means we are being misrepresented.

Ask yourself the question: "what do I stand for?" Is my interest and philosophy being properly represented? I think if you get off the political band wagon for a couple of minutes you will see that no party is representing us. They all have their agenda and the organization would not exist if that were not true.

Vote in someone from the outside and fire the incumbents in office today. The opportunity will soon be here for everyone to express their opinions and be heard. November is the time to vote your spirit, the spirit of the United States of America.

God bless the USA citizenry. Let US group together under one banner.
